How To: Edit WordPad images by syncing them with Paint in Windows 7

What to do when you have to edit an image that is contained within a document in WordPad? Don’t worry, MS WordPad has an built feature that allows you to sync an image with MS Paint, so as to perform the required changes to the image (in MS Paint) and apply the changes in WordPad document. Here is how it is done:

#1 Open WordPad and open any document containing images or insert any image into a new WordPad document. For example, the image uploaded in the screen-shot below.

#2 To open this image in MS Paint for editing, copy the complete image and thereafter go to Home-> Paint Drawing.

#3 After the Paint interface has opened, paste the image and perform the required changes to the image. Because the image is now synchronized with WordPad, whatever changes you will make in the Paint interface will show-up on WordPad.

You can do this to save time and avoid any anomalies while dealing with documents containing a lot of images and textual content, where images have to be edited quite frequently.
