Building submarines for pleasure has become a routine for many enthusiasts out there. Personal submarines from designers and DIY-ers have been much acclaimed, then whether they are from China or from the efficient West, who cares. Talking of the West, we have a rather serious submarine developed by Jason Rollette. The detailed ROV decked in yellow is complete with a video camera and was commissioned to explore a shipwreck in Lake Michigan. Stuffed in with 500gph and two 1,250gph bilge pumps, latter for propulsion, this remote controlled sub may not be as appealing and eye luring as some of the ones seen previously, but this one sure has a purpose, which perhaps many of the others had only as far as pleasure of building and riding.
