Popular Science has published the pictures of the Porsche's first digital chronograph watch priced at $150,000 and maneuvered by 800 parts.

The flawless design and assembly of different parts makes the watch accurate and durable. The energy generated by the mainspring is gathered by a balance wheel that rotates back and forth, 28,800 times an hour, or four times a second, like a small pendulum. This drives the escape wheel that in turn control the second, minute and hour hands.

You'd love to see how the chronograph and other gears work here as mentioned in detail by Jonathon Keats. The titanium cased watch weighs 4.86 oz. and it took its makers four years to craft it.
