Horizon Hydrogen Fuel Cell FCJJ-21 for your R/C electric hobby cars
Remote controlled electric hobby car just got another kick in its eco-friendly engine with the availability of this unique Hydrogen-cell upgrade kit. The drop in manufactured by Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies unit can easily fit inside the widely available Tamiya TT-01 and includes a 30W air-cooled, air-breathing and self-humidified PEM fuel cell stack along with an integrated bright blue light-emitting fans and a gorgeous aluminum casing. Electronic controls and miniature pressure regulator aside, the integration kit also includes three 10L metal hydride canisters in a hydrogen storage “rack”. So what will this H-cell do for your r/c puppy? Well for starters it can boost up the power output to a single charge upto 35 kmph for an hour which is more than the 15-minute average you get from a Nimh battery. Sounds cool to me. Now can someone go for a dry run and tell me if it doesn’t blow the $1500 investment back in the face!
