Homemade Styrofoam boat keeps a Cuban refugee afloat for 23 days

When it comes to sneaking into other countries, some people have strange ways. Like this Cuban refugee, which I assume was having a go at freedom, as U.S coast Guard officers rescued him from a homemade Styrofoam boat near Florida Keys. This unidentified and severely dehydrated man was rescued after he had spent 23 days floating in the middle of nowhere. He told authorities that he had cast off from Havana on June 20. When rescued few pieces of metal to outrig the vessel and a plastic gallon jug was found inside the boat. However, I hope this man took off with lot more stuff than just this jug, otherwise he could be in lot of health trouble.
