Holy cows! Windows 95 running on iPad is kinda cool
Lacking on some counts in the hardware strata; iPad apps & emulator software(s) make-up for the functionality constraints on Apple’s tablet PC. As the days pass by, more and more iPad apps/emulators are balancing the equation in iPad’s favor. BOCHS emulator is another such example, an open source IA-32 (x86) emulator written in C++ that runs Windows 95 OS on you iPad. As you can see in the video, the Windows 95 interface is very well emulated on to the iPad, with demonstration of Notepad and Mine Sweeper applications. Personally speaking, I would like to see Windows 7 running on iPad via an emulator, which I think is a very rare possibility due to the hardware limitations of iPad. But I'm sure we'll see a Windows XP/Vista emulator spell-bounding us with its magic on the iPad.
