gibbs high speed amphibious vehicles for the military

Gibbs is a popular name when it comes to developing amphibious vehicles, Humdinga being the most famous development with its ability to conquer all terrains. This time the focus is on speed and not recreation as the company intends to develop high speed amphibious vehicles or more specifically the High Speed Amphibians abbreviated as the HAS. Gibbs Technologies would be aided by Lockheed Martin in this endeavor which plans to equip the Military which amphibious vehicles capable of trouncing the waters at 45mph and the land at 100mph. There would be three variants namely the Combat Craft – Expeditionary (20 feet amphibian that moves at 45 mph on water), Combat Craft – Riverine (35 foot amphibian that runs at 40 mph) and the Terraquad (capable of over speeding at 55 mph on water).

It wouldn’t be solely the speed part that would be special, indeed, these vehicles would be high-quality combat commuters integrated with armory, weapon systems, controlled through expeditionary commands. Loaded with onboard systems, these would work as apt tools to share and relay information using remote sensors. It is the regular waters where the military can be somewhat subdued and this would be taken care off with the advent of these High-speed amphibians.
