Here comes the Harddisko party! All are invited!

Let's start the party by simply collecting old hard drives from the junkyard or PC shops, remove their casings, mounting a special sound pickup on the drive's read head, hooking it to a sound mixer and the Harddisko is ready to rock you.

Valentina Vuksic, the brain behind the jingling idea, made the Harddisko with 16 hard drive casings. The sound is produced as the powered drive heads move in set patterns generating varying sounds based on the quality of the drive.
You can tune in to Harddisko at Aarau, Switzerland, where it's exhibited through April 2.
