You can manage all 3G, paid Wi-Fi and free Wi-Fi through this one interface. More over you can only have one monthly subscription rather than having two or three for 3G and Wi-Fi .

Helio boast that its hybrid card has connectivity to over 55,000 commercial WiFi hotspots and 3G in more than 220 major US markets. The software of the card automatically selects the best connection, based on speed and signal strength, swapping between them seamlessly.

The hybrid card is free if you sign up for two years at $85 per month rental.
