Helicopter for under $2,000?
Wow!, it's a dream come true for flying buffs who want to drag their passion to new heights, moving ahead of paragliding and hang-gliding. Moreover, to provide the desired luxury, a vegetable seller from Uttar Pradesh, India, has dropped this two-seater 'homemade helicopter' just in time. You can soar new heights with the new craft for just Rs.100,000 (INR, around $2,200), in case it gains approval.
Surprisingly, the chopper designed by Mustakeem Ali, 24 uses tractor, scooter and auto rickshaw parts. It measures just 3.5 meter and weighs 200 kg. Sadly, the state police arrested Mustakeem, for not taking permission for the test flight. As the helicopter is truly a product of crude technology, its airworthiness is still under question, until then keep your fingers crossed.
