With the holiday selling season in full swing the Big Boxes are spreading the red carpet of discounts and sales to woo the last bit of penny in the customer's pocket. The prices are so down and you save so much that it will hardly matter if there are long queues in the stores.

Here is a list of few items that many of you Technology enthusiast would like to lay your hands on. Big Boxes are offering heavy discounts this holiday season.

A Western Digital 500GB 'My Book Essential' hard drive with USB2.0 will cost you $199.99 at best buy which is down from normal price of $299, a saving of $100.

Similarly a Firewire's 500GB 'My Book' with same configuration as that of Western Digital is costing you $239.99 with an instant savings of $70.

The Seagate is also offering the 250 GB version of hard drive for $99.99 but the fine print on the product says that you will have to mail $60 worth of mail-in-coupons.

The Seagate's 750 GB SATA drive is costing $329.99.

But the shoppers should keep in mind that the end of the year will through more best buy bargains especially the time from Dec 25 to Dec 31 as shops will try to close the year with a new record in holiday season sale.
