It is always good to know more, be it in any relevance and such augmentation can be a pleasure if assisted by technology. Imagine a head-mounted display that would enhance human recognition ability using an augmented-reality application. An HMD that can render enhanced recognition using a combination of real world information and computer generated data was on display at the SID Display Week 2009. Lumus Ltd., Israel and Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems (IPMS), Germany are keen to develop these displays that project images, giving the user a snapshot close enough to be a part of reality.
