Does literature gives way to science? I think it’s a thought provoking question as many of the things which Issac Asimov, noted science fiction writer wrote are coming true in today’s modern day science. Can we say the same for our dear Harry Potter? How many of you have wished to own the famous invisibility cloak that he had? At least I really envied him that. Guess what, now you can have one of your own. No, it’s not a joke, but the researchers at Toyama Prefectural University and other institutions have indeed come up with a new invention that they call a ‘perfect invisible cloak.’
So how does this cloak works? It works on the principle of a special lens that reflects no light, similarly, this invisible cloak refers to an object that has a void in the center. Now when a plane electromagnetic wave with a frequency is thrown on this object, the wave goes around the void and reaches behind the object. The electromagnetic wave front becomes planar after passing through the object. The amplitude and the phase of the resultant plane wave also completely coincide with those of the wavefront obtained when there is no object. Thus to say, the cloak has no reflection or phase delay at all, making it a perfect “invisible cloak”.
This brings one to the next question… Though the cloak is invisible, what about the substance within the cloak? Will that be invisible too? As per the researchers, if anything is hidden in the void of the cloak then that too would be invisible along with the cloak. Now that sounds too good to be true and really interesting. Let’s see when it hits the markets!

Um, what happens if you put your cloak down somewhere and then can’t find it... or getting hit by a bus because they didn’t see you... the dilemmas proliferate ;)
hahahaha... its not so invisible after all
a green color stil prevails and one can only see a blinding effect of the cloak or coat. what ever u cal it...
