HAF X Case Mod: Wondrously oddball fusion of a mini bike and a powerful PC

The thriving assortments of PC case mods have covered a multitude of themes from the sleek Tron lightcycle, adorable R2-D2 to the outright bizarre (and ominous) Chucky. But a full-fledged PC on a real set of wheels - now that is something uniquely different. Created by a team from Germany, the Cooler Master Case Mod is 'driven' by a working mini-bike powered by a salvaged lawnmower engine.

Despite its bantam bearing, the petite two stroke bike has undergone a serious bit of adroit engineering from the modders. The fuel used is a petrol-oil mixture, while other modifications include a custom chain for gears and a new timing belt to go with it.

Coming to the real attraction, i.e., the PC itself - it is a Cooler Master HAF X-tower case infused with powerful specifications including a micro-ITX board, an Intel Core i5 2500K, 8 GB G. Skill RAM, a 300 GB SSD Intel and a gold-certified power supply from Cooler Master. The PC tower in itself is integrated with the core component of the bike, as we see the exhaust pipe placed fascinatingly close to the CPU fan. Other input peripherals like the monitor, keyboard, and mouse can be connected separately to the machine, while the total setup can be powered from a conventional electric outlet.

Now, many of you may ask about the degree of functionality of the whole eccentric conception? The answer is pretty simple - it has none. Adamantly sticking to the flippant dictum of 'fun for fun's sake', the heartfelt design certainly imbues that sprightly essence of non-conformity. Moreover, taking into account the seriously small size of the bike, it can be actually housed beside your monitor for an exhilarating experience of high-end gaming.
