Habey has provided a newer twist to the already low power consuming net-top (small and cheap computer for basic tasks such as net surfing and audio/video playback). They have managed to fuse the minimalist attributes of a net-top and the compactness of a tablet to form a stationary tablet-personal computer. This PC, dubbed as the PPC-6512, comes with a conspicuous 12" screen and looks much like a conventional desktop without the cumbersome processing unit.

The bulk of the electronic paraphernalia with accessible outputs including VGA, HDMI, S/PDIF optical, eSATA and 4 USB ports is housed behind the widescreen display (as shown in the above image). The computer itself comes with a 1.8 GHz Intel Atom D525 dual core processor infused with Nvidia ION GT218 graphics card (with dedicated 512MB video memory). The hardware specifications include two 2.5" removable hard drive bays, two DDR3 memory slots (with support for up to 4GB of RAM) and even a 1.3MP camera. Coming to OS, the contraption can run Windows 7, Windows Embedded, or Linux.
According to the company, this hybrid computer can serve a wide range of systems like a home automation control or as a functional component of a home theater setup. On the other hand, the price tag of $800 being slightly at the higher end (especially for a low specs computer) may appeal to a small group of customers. But then again, there are always the advantageous attributes of low power consumption and relative portability, concerning this petite conception.
