gruve
With obesity growing into a biggest fatal disease worldwide, a sufferer dies a small death each day knowingly, but with no real alternative. Therefore more techniques to keep people fit are required as an SOS campaign. If people could be kept active throughout the day, their metabolism wouldn’t shut down and that would help them lose weight, hitting upon this prescription Dr. Jim Levine of the Mayo Clinic has developed a prototype the Gruve, a device which is a personal energy-burning monitor.
gruve wearable energy monitor
Designed by Worrell, the Gruve can be clipped to any kind of clothing. It measures every single movement of an individual throughout the day, keeping record of the user’s metabolic progress against his pre-measured metabolism, which is shown by a color of the LED indicator light placed on top of the Gruve. If a person falters in his activity, the Gruve reminds him to move on with a slight vibration.

The recorded data is synchronized with the internet to also know the caloric intake and personal progress of the user. It seems to be a great device to gel in a sense of enthusiasm in the lazy fatsos, who deliberately are adding pounds to their body.
