Designed by Paris-based Company, Ratleads, GroundSurf is a three-wheeled board that you ride on the streets. The board is powered by an electric motor and has its speed controlled through a Bluetooth enabled cellular phone. Now that’s where technology is meant to be, right under your feet (taking full control). Bluetooth in a skateboard enables you to roam around the streets without really wasting your energy. By connecting the skateboard to your mobile phone you then have the ability to control the speed of the board.
Dynamics
Behind the front wheel is the Bluetooth receiver which also is next to the battery. By using the touch screen on your phone you can slide your finger up the screen to make you go faster and sliding down the screen will cause you to slow down. HTC phones will be able to have software downloaded to them which will make them compatible with the board.
Price
Before it really fascinates you just keep an eye on the price. The ground-surf retails for $1,770-$2,040( I guess the only backdrop).
