The device looks like a pen and is battery operated and the scanner scans the barcode and stores it. With 128MB built-in storage, it can store more than a million barcodes.
The device can work on it’s own or through the USB plug and a PC. Groqit costs $95 and comes with 30 days validity or 300 free translations or whichever comes first. If you intend to buy more than 300 products in a month you will have to spend $4.95, which would again give you a validity of 30 days. Actually, most of the online services can be used FREE, without buying a Groqit. Anyone who gives or receives gifts should be interested.
