Grannies manage biggest hand-knitted Smart car tea cosy

Art in any form comes really well to me, and when it’s as impressive as this knitted Smart car, things actually take me to next heaven. The work of 20 dedicated grannies, this trendy tea cosy for a giant car is a result of 70lbs of wool and two months knitting. A project for Zurich-based Senior Design Factory could find a place in the Guinness Book of Records to claim the world record in the biggest hand-knitted car cover category. The cover depicts a lace-up trainer which exposes the car's wheels. Head down for a couple of more images.
