Build your own battle bot, Gundam - it is freakin' expensive though
Just inherited shiploads of cash and cant figure out what to do with it? Well, why don't you build yourself one of these six-storey tall battle robots using the technology pioneered by Takayuki Furuta, the director of the Future Robotics Technology Center in Chiba, Japan? Gundam, the classic battle robot from Japanese anime basically does not do much other than look unnerving and destructive. Sure it has all the tech specs you would want to see in a giant robo fighter, including a super-cool IBM Blue Gene supercomputer processing unit, but you really don’t expect many people to spend something like $742 Million on building a monster like this. And you might just find yourself playing with it on your own, which really cannot be all that much fun given how this bot was not designed to play music or perform some other entertaining tricks.
