Google to debut Android 3.0 Gingerbread with its own music service

Holiday season is targeted as the ideal time for the release of digital music service and Android 3.0 by Google. In an effort to stay in competition with Apple, that has announced plan of launching its own iTunes streaming service, Google has planned the launch of Google Music with the release of Android 3.0 Gingerbread in the fourth quarter of the year. The details come via Android product manager Gaurav Jain who spilled the details to Israeli finance paper Calcalist. The Google Music has been in rumors since October last year, while last week we heard some details on the Android 3.0 Gingerbread, which read that for optimal performance on mobile devices the required hardware for Android 3.0 would be 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and minimum of 3.5-inch display. For the tablets on the way, Android 3.0 would support 1280x760 pixel resolution. There isn’t much known about the Google Music to be accompanied with Android 3.0, on how will work or how it will integrate with Android 3.0 Gingerbread.
