Google’s patent suggests interactive gaming for YouTube videos

Interactive gaming is what Google is eyeing for the world’s most popular video site. According to a patent filed by Google in February 2009 and recently published, YouTube could become a hub for interactive gaming. This patent to create interactive games on top of YouTube videos is titled ‘Web-Based System for Generation of Interactive Games Based on Digital Videos.’ The collaborative effort will make video viewing on YouTube an interactive affair, wherein clicking on different parts of a video would lead the user to different outcomes, building a very interactive entertainment platform for the user.
