Google Labs’ Gesture Search app for Android minimizes errors

Handwriting recognition is a fun on smartphones, but this actually gets monotonous for me owing to my pathetic handwriting, even the phone’s sensitive software fails to understand it. Now, all users of Android 2.0 and above are in for a surprise with Google Labs recently introduced Gesture Search app. This app, no matter how bad you’re with the hand, allows you to very precisely search contacts, bookmarks, applications or anything that begins with the letter you’ve written. The Gesture Search app also has a solution for the ‘A’ that looks like an ‘H’ – it would display the list from both alphabets, minimizing the chance of an error in all cases. All inquisitive can download the search app here.
