Google's known to search our queries within a few milliseconds and provide relevant information. With technology advancing, a Google veteran has come up with an idea that could help the search engine giant predict our needs weeks in advance.

Amit Singhal, the developer of the idea, states that his dream software, the “Searching without Searching” algorithm, will access user's personal details under some privacy policy to know much more about the user and his/her relatives. It will know birthdays, anniversaries, consumer gadget preferences and even the user’s favorite cuisine. It will also know the location of the user and will be able to get in touch with local stores for any purchases.
The whole concept might sound futuristic, but could well make our lives a lot easier and comfortable. As an example, a user who has signed up for the service will never forget the birthdays of his wife and the software will know her consumer preferences by checking out her social networking profiles. The data will help the user chose a perfect gift for her soul mate and also allow the user to book the gift in advance if the local stores are running short of the preferred gadget or product.
However, even if the technology is developed, it won’t be brought to the market until ways are found to address the privacy concerns that highly personalized services will use. The search engine giant on the other hand has stated that it could save a user up to 15 minutes of conventional searching each day.
