It was back in May when we heard of Google readying a tablet of its own to rival the Apple iPad. The news came from Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam, who then claimed that, Verizon in collaboration with Google would be readying an Android-powered tablet. The rumor mill now seems to have churned a finer twist to the Google tablet tale. Recent news confirms that, Google is building a Chrome OS tablet, which will be offered in conjunction with Verizon.
The tablet that’ll feature Tegra 2 graphic processor, 1280x720 multitouch display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB SSD and 3G connectivity, will be made by HTC, who had teamed up with the search engine giant to build the Nexus One. To create interest in the consumers, and to target the biggest sale possibility on the very first day of release, the tablet is scheduled to be launched on Black Friday, November 26, so stay tuned.
