The word ‘bigger is the better’ fits appropriately to the world of high-definition TVs. The Mitusubishi’s Diamond Vision, which had the tag of world’s largest HDTV around its neck until now must be shying after seeing the new largest HDTV in the world that is located in Texas racecourse. South Dakota-based Daktronics Inc. has developed the biggest beast named Godzillatron.
The name Godzillatron itself reveals the feeling of being big. It has shattered all the previous measurements of width and height as the giant stands 55 feet tall, 134 feet wide. The screen is so huge that forty 5-ton air conditioning units are required to cool it. It seems like the guys over there have lots and pots of money.
Anyway, I don’t think that this is the end of the big race and we can’t say that for how long the Godzillatron will hold the title of ‘world’s largest HDTV.
