The MAKE Magazine organized its first ever ‘Maker Faire’ at the San Mateo Fairgrounds last weekend. DIY enthusiasts thronged the event along with their grotesque innovations. It was a dream event with gadgets ranging from vegetable oil powered cars to Douglas Repetto’s giant wall painting machine and from Crabfu steamworks’ R/C steam powered robots to awesome toys from Squid Labs exhibiting their skills together.



We’ve been reading MAKE magazine since long and have benefited with the contributions made by authors from all fields with their projects, but it was the first time people got an opportunity to meet the real makers and grasp the actual concept behind their projects. We need more such events.
