We’ve walked into the future already and with the computers going wearable, we only take a stride further, literally. Taking us there in time is Glacier Computer’s W200, a computer that can be worn on the wrist. We recently saw a concept Zypad WR1100, a rugged wrist-worn wirelessly operated computer for the marines, and Glacier W200 is another that is more supple and with greater potentials to be bid into production.

The bracelet type computer, which’ll do away with the need of a watch, features a future oriented 3.5-inch touchscreen with backlit keyboard. The GPS and Wi-Fi enabled computer will be based on Windows CE or/and Linux OS. For the wanderers who need more than the GPS, an electronic compass and motion sensors will be attached to the device.
