With each modification done, you have something new to show the world. In Hanover, Germany Gigabyte showcased its appealing new UMPC during CeBIT, 2008. The product with the name Gigabyte M704 is a blend of computer with a sliding form resembling a cell phone. This is ideal for the most fundamental computing chores as is clear from the specifications. It features a unique Slide-out keyboard, a 7 inch screen with a 1,024×600pixel resolution that is wholly LED backlit, making it the lightest in its category. The Gigabyte M704 measures 190×120.8×30.3mm and it weighs around 780g. The basic features of the product comprise VIA Esther ULV C7-M 1.2 GHz CPU, a 40/60 GB HDD for extra memory and a fully loaded 1.3megapixel webcam for better image clarity.
And, that’s not all. The Wi-Fi speakers and a SD card slot with VGA out makes it a gem of product for its users. The UMPC runs Windows Vista Home Premium. As of now, there is no word on pricing of the new PC.
