Gibson ships HD.6X-Pro digital guitar

Good news for guitar lovers...

The long awaited Gibson HD.6X-Pro Guitar System has hit the streets of New York City. The launching held in presence of Les Paul also known as father of the electric guitar. One hundred limited-edition HD LP guitars have been signed by Les Paul, and are available through online dealer Sweetwater at $7,999 USD. Other unsigned models will be sold at a price of $4,999 USD.

The HD.6X-Pro Guitar System, nicknamed the HD LP will provide music lovers incredible opportunities to shape the music in a different way. The company has combined its artistry with the most modern technologies and come out with this first digital guitar of its kind. The high profile of guitar offers an effortless playability and classic Gibson humbuckers for incredible, traditional tone.

The guitar features patented Gibson technology (Media-accelerated Global Information Carrier (MaGIC)) which can transfer the signal for miles without any attenuation. Each string and bridge has a HD.6X-Pro's Hex pickup positioned under it. These Hex pickups transfer the signal to the studio grade preamps that digitalizes these signals. The Breakout Box, known as 'BoB,' routes these signals to outputs detecting them automatically.

The guitar is shipped with each software and equipment that makes it compatible with your computer and lets you explore limitless sonic possibilities made possible by complete version of Cakewalk SONAR software included in the package.
