For a moment you might be fooled into thinking that the Autobots from the movie Transformer have come alive in front of you and the world is about to be thrown into an inter-galactical war. But trust me, nothing of that sort is going to happen. These Transformers are just mock ups of the ones, you have seen in the movies and have been made by Thai sculptor Anchalee Saengtai for Ripley's Believe it or Not.

Apart from the stark resemblance with the "real" Transformers, there is one more thing which is special about these giants. All of these mechanical giants have been created from recycled automobile and truck parts. According to the artist, she created these Autobots "using the simplest of tools."
Given the popularity the Transformer series movies have garnered, these Transformer sculptors will surely be as popular with the people. May be, that is why Ripley's has already decided to place these giants in Ripley's Odditoriums in New York, London, South Korea and Hollywood. Ripley's have already placed an Optimus Prime created by Saengtai at their San Fransisco Odditorium. Before this, they had placed a Bumblebee sculpture created by Saengtai at the Louis Tussaud's Waxworks in San Antonio, Texas. With the third movie in the series, Transformers: Dark of the Moon slated to release soon, these "real" Autobots will surely be a big hit with the people.
The Autobots created by Saentai come in 19 ft and 8 ft tall versions. So, if you are in the vicinity of a Ripley's Odditorium, you should absolutely check out these mechanical creations of Saengtai. It will not just give you the thrill of watching your favorite Autobots up close and personal, but it will also tell you a lot about the artist who created this and her talent. These sculptures are a dream come true for every fanboy. People are already wishing that Saengtai would come up with a similar sculpture of one of the Decepticons next.
