Toshiba has now launched a stunning 880-inch LED HDTV and isn’t meant for indoor usage. Called the Toshiba Vision Times Square it comes with high definition resolution and supports over a billion colours. LED display measures 51.2 x 52.5 foot and integrates 1280 x 1248 LED image. The HD image output uses Toshiba’s TECHNOVIRTUAL technology and the pixel sharing technology, which is being talked about these days. This technology uses adjacent pixels and in fact creates virtual pixels of 12.5 mm pitch. The mega LCD display is quite environment friendly too, since it uses LEDs and is going to be used to market Toshiba products in New York’s Times Square. Looks like the giant LCD display would cost a lot too, and many advertisers may be interested in the LED HDTV and we may see similar ones being installed in major cities.
