Giant robots battle it out in 'Kung Fu Cyborg'

Jeffrey Lau’s upcoming martial arts Transformers movie Kung Fu Cyborg has some of the most time-honored formulas known to result in hit movies; namely robots battling it out, and kung fu. The concept art for the movie is now out, and as you’d expect, it’s all quite badass. Amazing visual effects are something we should take for granted with a movie like this.

The movie follows another time-honored tradition which states that action flicks with robots in them need not have any sort of deep semblance with a storyline. Check out the plot synopsis from CCTV.com:

The story takes place in a futuristic world, where robots are at war with each other. Hu Jun plays a police officer who becomes a cyborg. Sun Li plays the adopted sister of Hu Jun, who falls in love with a cyborg. Wu Jing plays a robot who has become evil but eventually turns over a new leaf.
