Getac V100 Tablet PC’s multitouch display recognizes touch with gloves
Touch interface has walked a real distance of objectivity, and now next of kin, multitouch is making real inroads. Including the same in its latest reveal, rugged PC manufacturer Getac impresses just all. Getac unveils the Getac V100 Tablet PC, a multitouch display enabled Tablet that can be used with or without gloves, thanks to the resistive multitouch technology included.

The multitouch display on the rugged V100 Tablet uses a series of single touch, dual touch, flick and application gestures, thus enabling the PC users to perform numerous on-screen tasks by a simple touch in real quick time. Features 2048×2048 resolution, 100 points per second report rate, and less than 35ms response time, the multitouch display is ideal for industrial and extreme weather conditions, owing to the system extremely high accuracy even when the user is operating with the gloves on. Preloaded with Windows 7 OS we may see the Getac V100 Tablet PC going on sale later this month.
