Get ready to welcome 500 GB Blu-Ray discs, thanks to Pioneer

Deciding that a 400 GB Blu-Ray disc wasn’t enough, seems Pioneer had some other design in mind. Startlingly, its aim of developing a 500 GB storage place saw fruition. 500 GB means you have an insatiable storage device having 25 layers containing 25GB of memory each. Brendan Sheridan, Product Manager of Pioneer Europe NV, Multimedia Division, is hopeful of aiding the gaming, movie and PC industries with its spanking new next generation 500 GB Blu-Ray HD capable of storing bulky digital files.
