German’s scrap Segway off extra size for sleek Ewee-PT electro scooter

Posted By: Bharat BhushanSharma | Jul 30 2010

Segways haven’t been appreciated much for what they are, but this more innovative Ewee-PT Segway by Nolodesign in Germany could, we guess, improvise on the commuter’s name. Designed sleeker than the previously seen Segways, this concept is easier to get on and off as the foot rest on the Segway is closer to the ground. Weighing almost half the traditional Segways, the Ewee is ridden with a joystick while leaning forward gets the electro scooter to accelerate and leaning backwards the rider can decelerate it. We aren’t really sure of the sturdiness of the Segway, but we learn that it’s ready for pre-order today. So, if you’re enticed by the look of it, then gear up to part with €799 ($1,039. Hit the jump to see more images and the video of the Ewee in action.
