The life of an artist has just got more stylish. Genius has unveiled two new tablet PCs - the G-Pen M712 and G-Pen M609. Designed particularly for graphic designers and artists, the tablet PCs offer a broad array of features that can make you go ga-ga. Replicating the feel of a canvas, the PCs offer a mind-boggling resolution of 4000 LPI and come with a dual-mode function, wherein users can switch from wide screen to standard view or vice versa based on the requirement. Loaded with Windows Vista+Mac OS and rolling pads for easy scroll, zoom & volume, both PCs add tooth to an artist’s already expansive armory. The M712 and M609 provide 34 and 26 hot keys respectively for tasks like writing, drawing, sketching, and signing emails. A digital, cordless pen further simplifies the user interactivity.
Like most tablet PCs, the G-Pen M712 comes with PhotoShop Elements 5.0, PhotoImpact 12SE, Macro Key Manager and Office Ink/Free Notes. The software suite in the G-Pen M609 is similar to the M712, except for Photoshop Elements 5.0. Attractively priced at $249 and $195 respectively, the tablet PCs from Genius are certainly a must-have for budding and established designers.
