GE unveils Super-Repellent Plastic

The new GE plastic repels fluid with its superhydrophobicity property enabling free-flowing of liquids off jars. Initially, plastics with the same property were made of costly polymers like Teflon or silicon but the GE's super-repellent is made of cheap plastic hence opening a new era for cost effective products. The technology can be effectively used in food containers, building panels and even in medical science.
