Gateway unveils 30" Widescreen High-Definition LCD Computer Display
Gateway is one electronic giant that is taking big leaps in the market, crashing into the share of the other established market players. Disagreeing here surely isn't a way out - playing even bigger, Gateway has jumped into the high-end 30-inch LCD widescreen market with its new XHD3000 creation.
The XHD3000 comes with 2560 x 1600 screen resolution, but then that's nothing new, coz you would find the same in any other 30-inch LCD display. What actually sets this Gateway kid apart from the other clones in the market is its ability to play ultra-high definition 1600p video with TDX hi-fi audio.
The XHD3000 can be connected to six different devices (video inputs) simultaneously, and has the HD picture-in-picture capability. The Gateways creation also includes six USB ports, while the display has one HDMI, one analog VGA, and one DVI-D. Priced at $1699.99, XHD3000 has a 6ms response time for the panel.
