
G-Net, an industrial vehicle mount computer and LCD maker, has introduced two new devices, the G-NET Industrial Panel PC and the G-NET Rugged Tablet PC. The rugged Tablet PC is something they have tried their hands at for the very first time. Designed to meet all conditions just like the other Rugged PCs, G-Net’s creation is a compact sunlight readable tablet that comes embedded with Lithium-ion battery and a touchscreen interface. It also features 1.2 GHz fanless CPU, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to access wireless connectivity at ease, has an installed Windows XP on 10.4-inch diagonal TFT, 512 MB internal memory space and supports 800×600 resolutions.

The Rugged tablet PC from the industrial leaders in vehicle mount computers is offered at a base price of only $2,199, and shall be available on their site.

The rugged tablet is fit to be mounted in vehicles, with the only added requirement being a standard VESA 75mm mounting unit. The PC is well enclosed in rubber dampers to help it see through the tough times. The second new offering, the G-Net Industrial Panel PC, has a 10.4-inch display 1.5 GHz CPU, 512mb of RAM and a 40gb hard drive.
