The US and Canadian skiing teams can hope for injury-free Turin Winter Olympics this year by donning Skiwear Spyder d3o futuristic flexible material. The light material protects the athlete by immediately turning into hard armour in case of severe impact owing to their 'strain rate sensitivity".
