The largest trade show of its kind is commencing this Saturday. The CES-2007 will be held in Las Vegas from this Saturday to the 11th of January 2007.

Like the previous 39 shows that were held this also promises to unveil the future for us. CES has always been the home for some culture changing gadgets and technology.

This year the CES will house more than 140,000 people and products from 2,700 exhibitors. The area covered by the show will be almost that covered by 35 US football fields.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and the heads of Motorola and Dell will be the speakers at the CES-2007.

Among the exhibitors Yahoo has promised breaking news at the show.

Some other promised innovations include remote controlled smart homes and remotes that can control your car from afar.

Some security equipment will also be on display. These will include devices that can act as a credit card that can only be used with a matching fingerprint and feedback from the palm scanner that can scan your veins.

Sony Ericsson will unveil a watch that not only shows you the time but can also control mobile devices such as cell phones and PDAs.

HP will introduce a MediaSmart HDTV that will be equipped with wireless internet connectivity to access songs and videos on the internet.

Technology for the cars will include advanced navigation systems and cameras that can be used to see vehicles behind you.

Robot crazy will see some outstanding robots. Ugobe will unveil its first Dinosaur shaped robotic pet and Honda will also show the advanced version of its famous Asimo Robot.
