Monstrous Ultraman statue to lure passengers at Fukushima Airport
Authorities of Fukushima Airport in Japan have turned towards their action hero, Ultraman to seek help and boost up the declining number of passengers. The airport got Ultraman’s statue erected at its terminal building, as the airport gears up to celebrate its 15th anniversary next month. Getting Ultraman’s statue erected, the airport officials hope it would bring good luck to the airport. The ‘Ultraman’ T.V series about extraterrestrial heroes, who fights a series of monsters and aliens was created by late Eiji Tsuburaya, and later on established Tsuburaya Productions Co. Tsuburaya Productions readily gave support to the Airport authorities for the erection of the statue that stands 3-meter-high. The statue stands clad in the red clothing that is like in Ultraman series.
