Fujitsu's Slick LifeBook P8000 Series: Ultraportable PC with wider screen, bigger buttons

Yet another great product at the exhibition in CES 2008, is here to amaze you. The product in discussion here is from Fujitsu; I bet most people would vouch for the unique products from this company, which specializes in ultra-portable electronic goods. This time, it is an ultraportable PC from the LifeBook P8000 Series.

As expected, the Slick LifeBook P8000 Series is loaded with amazing features. As the name suggest, it is not only slick, but also slimmer than most portable PCs available like P7100 Series. It measures 11.2×8.3×1.4 inches in dimension. Although it is longer and bigger than the P7100 Series, it amazingly weighs almost 2.6 pounds less!

The wide screen and battery, plus an integrated optical drive answer for the increase in length and height respectively. It also has wider touch-screen and bigger button. With thinner display screen trims, the backlit LED allows for the decrease in weight. The borders are approximately two times less than the previous series.

The ultra-portable PC also features the improved battery life. It is also loaded with a webcam. Other than the regular cable slots, it has one SD card and PC Card slots with three USB and one FireWire ports. Waiting to hit the market next month, it is priced at around $1699 and is still better than the P7100 Series.

The wider screen and bigger buttons look quite promising.
