The way we are squeezing in RFID tags into just anything ranging from shoes to drones, they definitely have to be rugged enough to sustain all kinds of adverse conditions.

The new rough and tough RFID tags introduced by Fujitsu seem to deliver what exactly we are vying. The Fujitsu tags are safely housed in soft plastic shells and can resist washing and even ironing. Priced at ¥200 (US$1.82), the innovative tags can transmit signals up to 1.2m.
