The pyroelectric infrared sensor allows it to sense human presence and nonexistence turns it off. It’s indeed a great power-saving operation as this AC consumes nil electricity 10 minutes after the user exits the room. Nippon Ceramic Co Ltd has been so very instrumental in bringing out this attribute. Also, it has a horizontal sensitivity range of 120° (about 10m in linear distance).
