Fuel cells have entered a niche where they are seen as a revolutionary entity to create that difference in power consumption and minimize environmental impact simultaneously. While production of fuel cells strives to meet the requirement, San Francisco based Bloom Energy has revealed clean energy device in form of a fuel cell server. Being adopted by big shots like EBay, Google, Bank of America, Coca-Cola, FedEx Express, Walmart etc, the fuel cell server built with patented solid oxide fuel cell technology, in its early days has proven to be a more powerful alternative with much lesser environmental footprints.

Better than the hydrogen fuel cells, this solid oxide fuel cell server is more efficient in converting fuel to electricity, which can be managed from a range of renewable or traditional fuels including natural gas, wind and solar power. This approach from Bloom Energy, which lifts fuel cells from the image of cells that don’t generate a lot of energy to placing them in a way to generate huge amounts of power, is highly commendable. If you believe Bloom Energy then “each system here generates enough power to meet the needs of approximately 100 average U.S. homes.”
