French ISP Free has just opened up its networks across France to its subscribers. That means that if you are one of the 300,000 subscribers of Free living in Paris and you come across a Free WiFi network in Lyon then you can log on to it and use up to 64kbps of bandwidth without any problem.
Free offers these services at a charge of $38 per month to all its subscribers, and Free will also provide you with a Freebox that comes with a DSL modem at 24Mbps, a digital TV receiver, 4-port WiFi Router, built in VoIP with free calls to 28 countries and TV streaming capability.
Free also has launched two state of the art Wi-Fi enabled handsets pictured above. The white one supports only Wi-Fi and is priced at $75 and the black one supports both Wi-Fi and GSM and comes at $250.
