Four iRobot Roomba 530s combined to make an innovative humanoid

Combining four iRobot Roomba 530s, the University of Bonn's Autonomous Intelligent Systems Lab has developed an innovative robot to clean your place with more efficiency. Entitled the “Roomba QuadDrive,” the omnidirectional mobile robot moves in unison with four Robotis Dynamixel RX-64 servos, each connected to the Roombas at its base. Capable of supporting a 20kg payload with ease, the latest humanoid can reach the maximum speed of 0.5 m/s, allowing quick and smart cleaning with minimum fuss.
