There is an old saying that a photograph speaks a thousand words. Well, there’s no doubt about it, but then again, isn’t it high time someone made a little amendment to this age old adage? Of course yes, and this is the exact thoughts that might have pinched the manufacturers of this wonderful device that lets you dial any phone number just with the help of a photograph. FotoDialer resembles a photo album and holds four 2×3 inch photographs on each of its six pages. Each photo corresponds to a phone number that’s stored in the memory of this device and is represented by a button on its side. The device can be attached to any analog phone and when a call is to be made, all one needs to do is to press the button next to a particular photograph and the device takes care of the rest.
Although the device is manufactured by The Vision Group to address the problem of vision loss experienced by old people, I don’t see any reason why it should not be used by people with perfect eyesight. No doubt the FotoDialer carries features very much similar to the speed dial feature on your phone, but I still love this for two reasons. First, it lets you store 24 dedicated phone numbers and some emergency numbers. Second, it gives you a reason to smile each time you make a call. Now its safe to take a pleasant detour and say that a photograph not only speaks a thousand words but it can also make you speak to your heart’s content!

Yeah, I think I’m going to get one of these for myself. I really am bad at remembering numbers and things like that.
